We invite the submission of applied research papers to the 3rd Wireless Telecommunications Symposium, WTS 2004, which will be held on May 14-15, 2004 at the Kellogg West Conference Center at Cal Poly Pomona in Pomona, California.
The Wireless Telecommunications Symposium brings together industry professionals and the academic community from companies, governmental agencies, and universities around the world to exchange information on advances in mobile communications and wireless networking technology, applications, management, and security. Past WTS participants have included Dr. Irwin Jacobs, CEO of QUALCOMM. Already committed to participating in WTS 2004 are key personnel from Bell Laboratories, the FBI, Gartner, IBM Research, SBC Communications Inc., and Verizon Wireless.
The first day of WTS 2004 will feature invited presentations and keynote addresses by leaders and experts in the wireless industry. On the second day accepted academic and practitioner research papers will be presented. A doctoral-students session and wireless network security tutorial also are planned. Refereed proceedings will be published by the IEEE and be available on its Xplore online publication system. The proceedings also will be distributed at the Symposium via a CD and posted on the WTSI website. Applicable student papers are welcome. Awards will be given for the outstanding undergraduate and graduate papers submitted.

To submit papers and review guidelines, click
here. All submissions will be refereed blindly. Submitted papers should not exceed 5000 words, including a 200 word abstract. At least one listed author on the final paper must register for and attend WTS 2004 to present the paper.
All manuscripts should follow IEEE Computer Society Press Proceedings Author Guidelines
