On-line Paper Submission

Paper Submission Process: To submit papers, visit http://edas.info/index.php and submit a paper for the conference labeled WTS 2007 (you will need to create a new account, if you do not have one already). Submitted papers should not exceed 5000 words, including a 200 word abstract. To facilitate the blind review process, authors' names should not be listed in the papers submitted for initial review.

All manuscripts should follow IEEE Computer Society Press Author Guidelines and be submitted in PDF or MS Word format following the guidelines available at: ftp://pubftp.computer.org /Press/Outgoing/proceedings /instruct.pdf

Review Process: All submissions will be refereed blindly. Criteria for paper evaluation include relevance for the conference, importance of the topic, soundness/quality of analysis and evidence, organization, contribution to theory and practice, overall quality of the paper.

Publication Process: At least one listed author on the final paper must register for and attend WTS 2007 to present the paper and have it published in the Conference Proceedings.

Authors of accepted papers will be asked to submit a final copy of the paper following the IEEE PDF Requirements for Creating PDF Document for IEEE Xplore®. Directions and templates are available at http://www.ieee.org/portal /pages/pubs/confpubcenter /index.html#a1 .

All accepted and published authors will also need to complete and send an IEEE Copyright Form to Karen Patten, WTS 2007 Proceedings Editor at karen.p.patten@njit.edu or fax to Karen Patten +1-973-596-3074. The IEEE Copyright form is available at http://www.ieee.org/web /publications/rights/copyrightm ain.html.

Review and Publication Process for Inclusion of Research in a Forthcoming Springer Book: In addition to presentation at WTS 2007 and publication by the IEEE, a limited number of accepted papers will be eligible for publication by Springer in a book entitled Wireless Technology: Applications, Management, and Security. The reviewing and publication process for the book is as follows:

1. Submitted papers should not have been previously published and should not be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. All papers are refereed through a peer reviewing process. Authors of accepted papers will be asked to submit a PDF version of the final copy of the paper following the PDF Requirements for the IEEE's Xplore System.

2. An Ad Hoc committee of WTS editors and reviewers will review the papers accepted for WTS 2007, from which about 20 research papers judged to be suitable for the Springer book will be selected. Authors of papers with publication potential will be invited by the Ad Hoc editors to expand/revise their papers (per the Ad Hoc committee's recommendations).

3. The final decision for publication of an expanded/revised paper will be made by the Ad Hoc editors, who will appraise the entire review process for the paper, making certain that the Ad Hoc committee's recommended revisions have been made and that the paper differs substantially from the one published in the proceedings.
